Our History

Mackenzie College started its life as Fairlie Creek School in the year 1875.

Mackenzie College started its life as Fairlie Creek School in 1875, serving a town that was then known as Fairlie Creek. Since that time its name has been changed to Fairlie District High School, Fairlie High School and finally, in 1976, became known as Mackenzie College.

A more in-depth history of the school will be completed shortly as part of a school project. If you would like to contribute more information or pictures about the school’s history, please contact the school office.
