Immersive Experiences That Spark Discovery
3DLE – Three Day Learning Events
Our 3-Day Learning Events (3DLE) are unique to Mackenzie College—offering students hands-on learning through themed, extended activities outside the usual classroom structure. Held twice a year, 3DLEs provide students with the chance to dive into new challenges—ranging from leadership development and skill-building to community service, cultural exploration, and outdoor adventure. These events foster creativity, collaboration, and real-world application of learning. With staff and students working together in a more informal setting, relationships grow stronger and students gain fresh perspectives on themselves and their world. It’s an exciting way to break routine and inspire growth.
Event Overview
Our 3-Day Learning Events (3DLE) are held twice a year, offering a unique and enriching experience. The key benefit of the 3DLE is the diverse range of activities available. Students can engage in community service projects, outdoor adventures, cultural programs, skill development workshops, and leadership training. This variety allows students to explore their interests, discover new passions, and develop a well-rounded skill set.

Enhanced Interaction
The 3DLE also promotes increased interaction between students and teachers in a more relaxed, informal environment. This setting encourages stronger relationships and open communication, leading to a deeper understanding of each student’s individual needs and aspirations.
