After a successful summer captaining her country, and winning gold, at the u18 women’s ice hockey championships in Bulgaria, Gracie Hellmrich has recently been awarded the Aspect Trust Sports Scholarship for 2024.
Gracie was one of 24 applicants from South Canterbury. The fund is designed to support South Canterbury amateur elite athletes who have achieved at either a NZ development or national level in their chosen sport. The award provides $5000 to support team fees, equipment and travel costs associated with the recipient’s chosen sport.
